Editing takes time. Take the time of your session and add about 30-45 minutes to it, and you have the amount of time it take to edit your session. We don’t want to rush it, we want to take our time. We want to be sure we nail it and give you wonderful finished products.

It’s always exciting to see the pictures come alive with color and emotion. This picture I used for an example was taken the other day at a 1 year session, more to come soon. :) But when I saw this in camera it tugged at the ol’ heartstrings and I knew I had a keeper!

SOOC {straight out of camera} looks good. Good exposure. And feeling is there.

Basic Edit – I bump up the contrast, play with the levels and curves and sharpen it.

Juicy Edit – This is where I add some pop, shine and a dash of fun. This step also removes items, and fixes blemishes. If you look closely to the picture you will see something was taken out. :)

Vintage Edit – I love this look. And the classic look and feel it gives a photo. Timeless.

Warm B&W – I love black and whites. And the warm tone to my black and whites gives it that cozy feeling. It’s like that big fuzzy blanket on the back of the couch you love wrapping yourself up in. And it stands the test of time.

I wanted to share this with you so you can see the process and understand why I do what I do. I don’t make every image vintage. Just some scream for it. And not all of the pictures look right to me in black and white…. but do know every image gets a fine tuning and always looks it’s best when presented to you!

Thanks and enjoy!

Stacy
