Blog. Bloggy. Blog. Blog.

Thank you for stopping by the blog today. This is where you find me rambling on about weddings, recent sessions, life and coffee. You know... the important stuff. :) To the left you will see one of my favorite pictures I have of my daddy and myself. I love how a picture can tug on the heart strings, bring back sounds, smells and feelings, and I strive to capture images for others that do just that! So enjoy and leave some love.

I know you hear me say it all the time… I LOVE LEBANON ILLINOIS! I do. This small town grows on me more and more every day. Weekends I enjoy just walking down to the main street and hopping from one shop to the next. I love the conversations I have with the local shop owners. I have made some real friends here and I am so blessed that my boys get to grow up surrounded by all of this. I don’t look forward to my babies not being babies anymore, but I do look forward to the days when they are older and they go into the shops with their families and folks say, “I remember when you were just a little boy.”

Valentine’s Day I gave out cupcakes from The Brick Street Bakery, red velvet for Andy, the sister and my mother. Logan loved the carrot cake and Jax enjoyed a lemon cupcake with real raspberry icing! I took a taste of each one and I have to agree with everyone….. THEY WERE AWESOME! The kids have already requested birthday cakes. And Logan in his cute little voice declared his love for Miss Miko! Thanks Tamico! And thanks for hanging with me Sunday!

Join The Brick Street Bakery on Facebook… I hear there is a promo in the works for her facebook fans! Click here!

Sunday I stopped in at Fezziwigs Marketplace here in town. Every time I go in and taste something, it ends up comign home with me. I could spend a small fortune in that store! Everything there is amazing and the folks that work there are fantastic! My Valentines day dinner was inspired by all the great finds at Fezziwigs! And after dinner when we got the boys to bed, the husband and I enjoyed a nice glass of Italian wine from Fezzi’s!!
If you are looking for wine, tea, unique gifts please be sure to stop in and see Ellen and Tim… and their loyal companion Charlie!!

No post is complete with out a picture. So here you will find the boys enjoying their cupcakes, a few favorite sites at Fezziwigs and the amazing cupcakes Miss Miko created! Oh and the fella in the last picture… just a nice little fella I ran into at Fezziwigs!

Are you interested in what I got and the dish I made for my Valentines? Well there is no picture but I will gladly share with you my throw together meal!

4 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
Greek Olive Oil from Fezziwigs (brushed each breast with it, both sides)
Two splashes of Fezzi’s Balsamic Vinegar on each breast, and a little more for good measure :) {The best you will ever taste!! OMG I could drink it, it’s that good!}
One packet of Good Seasons Garlic and Herb dry dressing mix. Sprinkle it all over the chicken

Cook at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear. ENJOY!

I served it with noodles Alfredo and roasted onions, peppers and zucchini! Rave reviews all around!!!

Thanks for stopping by and we have specials coming soon! Easter is just around the corner! Watch for it! :)
