And then another few days for the postman to deliver it to their door. I want to say thank you again. Going through these the past 2 days I have had the chance to relive this amazing wedding all over again! The love you see in everyone’s eyes is amazing and I am so happy for you two. You two were surrounded by so many people who love and care for you. You all are so very blessed! Congrats again and look for these in the mail soon!!! Here is the last look before they hit the door! I know you hear me say it all the time… I LOVE LEBANON ILLINOIS! I do. This small town grows on me more and more every day. Weekends I enjoy just walking down to the main street and hopping from one shop to the next. I love the conversations I have with the local shop owners. I have made some real friends here and I am so blessed that my boys get to grow up surrounded by all of this. I don’t look forward to my babies not being babies anymore, but I do look forward to the days when they are older and they go into the shops with their families and folks say, “I remember when you were just a little boy.”
Valentine’s Day I gave out cupcakes from The Brick Street Bakery, red velvet for Andy, the sister and my mother. Logan loved the carrot cake and Jax enjoyed a lemon cupcake with real raspberry icing! I took a taste of each one and I have to agree with everyone….. THEY WERE AWESOME! The kids have already requested birthday cakes. And Logan in his cute little voice declared his love for Miss Miko! Thanks Tamico! And thanks for hanging with me Sunday!
Sunday I stopped in at Fezziwigs Marketplace here in town. Every time I go in and taste something, it ends up comign home with me. I could spend a small fortune in that store! Everything there is amazing and the folks that work there are fantastic! My Valentines day dinner was inspired by all the great finds at Fezziwigs! And after dinner when we got the boys to bed, the husband and I enjoyed a nice glass of Italian wine from Fezzi’s!!
If you are looking for wine, tea, unique gifts please be sure to stop in and see Ellen and Tim… and their loyal companion Charlie!!
Fezziwigs has a facebook page as well…. jump on and become a fan!! Click here!
No post is complete with out a picture. So here you will find the boys enjoying their cupcakes, a few favorite sites at Fezziwigs and the amazing cupcakes Miss Miko created! Oh and the fella in the last picture… just a nice little fella I ran into at Fezziwigs!

Are you interested in what I got and the dish I made for my Valentines? Well there is no picture but I will gladly share with you my throw together meal!
4 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
Greek Olive Oil from Fezziwigs (brushed each breast with it, both sides)
Two splashes of Fezzi’s Balsamic Vinegar on each breast, and a little more for good measure
{The best you will ever taste!! OMG I could drink it, it’s that good!}
One packet of Good Seasons Garlic and Herb dry dressing mix. Sprinkle it all over the chicken
Cook at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear. ENJOY!
I served it with noodles Alfredo and roasted onions, peppers and zucchini! Rave reviews all around!!!
Thanks for stopping by and we have specials coming soon! Easter is just around the corner! Watch for it!

Someone had his first school Valentine’s Day party Friday! He is our Mr. Holiday! If there is something to be celebrated he is all over it! So much like his mama.
) The night before it was hard to get him down for bed, as he was just so excited. He made out, and the valentines he brought home…. wow!! See for yourself!

I am horrible with this 365. I’m all about taking a picture a day, infact the boys are to the point where they are reminding me! So I will have something pretty cool to show at the end of it! lol But finding the time to look at them, tweek them and post is a whole other story! But here we are…. day 41! Not much has changed. Still going strong and wishing the winter away!
What to do on cold and snowy days?
Stay inside and play games!!
I love that Andy had to copy his big brother! lol

The 2010 wedding season has begun for the girls and I. And I cannot have asked for a more perfect wedding to start the year off with. Melissa and Matt were married at the lovely Hidden Lake Winery in Aviston, Illinois. It’s about 35 miles from downtown St Louis, but believe me, it is well worth the drive! I won’t lie, I was a bit nervous doing a winter wedding at a winery. But God was shining down on this couple and gave them a nice dusting of snow the day before. Once the snow started I knew it was going to be magical. I know I am a big cheese ball! But seriously, her colors were so elegant and romantic, the dusting of snow really set the mood.
See for yourself…..
This is just the beginning, as the images from this wedding have to be shared! I have not seen a couple that had so much love and support! It was such a touching wedding, and there were numerous times this girl had to catch her breath and wipe her eyes!! Yowzers!!
Thank you Melissa and Matt for allowing Stephanie and I to be a part of your day. It was amazing and absolutely beautiful! Best wishes to you all and may you have a safe trip back to South Carolina!
