I went through over half of my fun photo sessions and a handful of my St. Louis weddings from this past year and put this together for something fun to look at. I stopped at my most recent hard drive and decided this was enough eye candy and left my other drive alone. Seeing this in front of me is a bit overwhelming. I have been so blessed this year! I have been busy! I mean, I felt like I was, but seeing this is an eye opener for me. 2010 is going to be amazing. I can’t wait to do this again next year.

Thank you to all the amazing people who choose me to freeze a moment in time for them! With out you my passion wouldn’t have grown, my drive would have gone out and my motivation would have been zilch. I look forward to serving you all and I really hope you will come back to see us! Seeing your pretty faces makes my job a true pleasure!!

Enjoy!!

Happy New Years Eve my friends! It seems so unreal that 2010 is only hours away. Twenty ten sounds so funny coming out of my mouth. I wonder how long I will be crossing out 2009 when filling out contracts, writing a check or signing my name away. lol

I want to wish you all a wonderful and SAFE new years. Please have a DD, I want to see all your pretty faces here in 2010!

So what’s going on? So much is going on. And as usual I am frazzled as the day is here, I’m such a last minute person. And one of my new years resolutions is to not be that last minute girl. I know, I know…. resolutions are made to be broken. BUT I will be posting my resolutions today, I am hoping if I air them to the whole wide world web, some might actually happen! Fingers crossed.

So as I work today I will try and get some favorite images from the past year up. And as we have done in the past, there will be a contest for favorite image of 2009. I will post them and then have another post where you will be able to vote for your favorite image. The favorite image will receive a $50 gift card from us.

So here is one of the 1st favs

Stay tuned for more!

This is a friendly reminder. We will be closed for the Holidays. All CD orders have gone out and you should have them Monday or Tuesday. I have contacted folks that have prints that will be delivered before Christmas. If you haven’t received a email from me regarding your print order, unless I receive it tomorrow, you won’t have it till after the 1st of the year. Rush orders were put in for the holidays. So those who didn’t put a rush on it, well then I couldn’t pay for it. :o ) Thank you for understanding.

I am trying my hardest to get the weddings I have left done. I don’t want to rush it, I want to give you the best images possible and for that reason I cannot guarantee them being done before Christmas. I want them to be done, for you and for me, but no guarantees. Thank you so much for understanding.

2010 will be here soon. And there are A LOT of changes coming. A big one that I am looking forward to is an official OFFICE MANAGER!!! Stephanie is taking it on and will be running the show. I need the break, my family needs the break. It’s been an amazing year, but my time away has taken it’s toll. But with Stephanie and Traci, 2010 is going to be AMAZING!!! And I am going to be able to relax and do what I enjoy…. TAKE pictures, not manage myself. :O)

Thank you and look for more updates soon!

After months of conflicting schedules Jessi, Charlie and I finally got to meet up. And just in the St. Nick of time! Charlie leaves for Tech School on the 28th and won’t be back until early April, with the high chance of him returning to just up and leave again for Afghanistan. I am glad you two get to spend Christmas together and I want to thank you both for your service! I have a a lot of pride, and the sacrifice you have made doesn’t ever go unnoticed by this gal! Good luck you two and I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year! Here is a peek of your session today and I will see you both when the weather is warmer and we can stand to be out more than 20 minutes! :o ) Thanks for treading out to Lebanon and ENJOY!!!

2010 is only days away and I am trying to wrap my head around where the year has gone. 2009, oh what a year you have been! Going through these changes and closing down Molto Bella I am looking through pictures from the year and deciding what to bring with me. This image is an all time favorite. It is the first time I stepped out of the box and did MY own thing. This amazing couple had so much trust in me to allow me to be creative. Thank you Tara and JR! With your open mind I was able to capture this and it really set things in motion for me. This image stands the test of time and will forever be one I cherish! It is a constant reminder to just do my thing!!

This week has been full of editing, wrapping, delivering, spending time in line at the post office and trying to get ready for the Holidays. And on top of that trying to get everything ready for the new launch of McPeek Smith Photography!

Well today as I was finsihing one project and preparing for the next, I stopped in on Facebook. I spend way too much time there! lol And low and behold one of my favorite designers was having a give away! Jenn does amazing work, if you a professional photographer and looking for new templates or a new logo you must check out this girls work! Designs by Jenn She was giving away frame templates. The funny thing is I have a membership to her designs and I have had these fancy borders in my cart for the past week. I kept adding items for the new year and was waiting to get approval from the other gals before I went for it. Well I can happily take these babies out of the cart as they were free today! Thank you so much Jenn!! You are amazing!
Here are the two that I love, of course I had to add a few little guys to the frames. The family in this photo is an extraordinary family and I can’t wait to really blog about them! Watch for that once I finish up and can just blog!
