I now work at one of my favorite antique shops here in Lebanon! Aunt Bea’s! If you haven’t been in you should make a trip over and see the gang! Stephanie… yes the sister a.k.a. my wedding photographer partner is working there Monday – Friday!!

It’s either a bad thing or a really good thing that when you spend so much time somewhere… that they ask you to take a job. lol I enjoy it! I go in a few hours every other day and take pictures of their neat stuff! They have an ebay store that these get posted to and they ship all over the world!!! So if you see something you like you could have it in days! :) Everyone there is fantastic, and Dave the flower guy will become my next door neighbor this week…. I am so excited! As are the boys, Dave can Yo Yo!!! lol

I am a lover of old things. And I enjoy making old new again. Doing this I am learning so much. It’s all very exciting! Every Monday I will have a vintage post! It’ll be something that caught my eye and of course photographed that week. I am hoping to come across more things that my brides can incorporate into their big days. I’ve even got my eyes on some very cool vintage peices for the gals getting ready to go to prom!! So watch for those to come soon!

This past week I photographed these bowls that I have had my eye on for sometime. But I have no room for more bowls.

I have a thing for chairs, bowls, doors and Santas! And now flour sacks and depression glass!! Thanks guys!

I also love pitcher and bowls sets. This one is beautiful!

Now that you see what else I am up to these days I hope you will come back to what else I have found and photographed! We’d love it even more if you checked out the ebay site and shopped a little! Or stopped in the shop here in town!! CLICK HERE TO GO TO THE WEBSITE TO SEE SOME OF THE GOODIES!!

I hope you all had a great weekend! I did! I celebrated my anniversary with my wonderful hubby! I’ve been married now for 11 years and 2 days to the best guy a gal could ever ask for. I know people say it all the time… blah blah, but honestly this guy… he is pretty amazing! I figure if he can still give me butterflies in the tummy, and surprise me with his random acts of kindness, and…. be an amazing dad to 3 little boys all while supporting my dream… then he’s defiantly a keeper!!

So this is my shout out to my hubby! Thank you Aaron {a.k.a Smitty} for always believing in me, dreaming with me and loving me even on my craziest days! You are a true blessing! I love you and l look forward to all the years ahead of us! I couldn’t ask for a more fantastic fella!!

Hearts, hugs and kisses!!

Logan has been asking to do “an art”…… aka a craft project with mommy. So how do you tell them no? I love art and I love crafting, creating and getting messy. And I love to share this love with the kids. It’s a great release, and a great way to express yourself. Jaxson has a big one coming up, and I am really excited to see what he does with it… you’ll just have to wait and see!

So yesterday while pictures uploaded on the computer I decided to make a spring wreath. It was EASY! And it was GREEN! And it was FAST! An easy, green and fast craft that you and the kids can do. Kids who can tie could make these on their own with minimal help.

You need:
Wire Hanger {you know, the ones Mommy Dearest hated!}
Fabric {I used an old yellow maternity shirt and a cream and pink fleece cardigan}
Pearl ribbon stuff lol any ribbon would look cute I am sure

Take the wire hanger and form a circle with it. I took mine apart and wrapped it around a large beverage cooler to form the circle. I also used pliers to help create the circle as the wire hanger was being a booger. :)

Next I cut the fabric with pinking sheers into 3-4 inch strips. Took them and tied them onto the wire hanger.I crammed as many as I could onto my wire hanger. After I was done it needed something so I took pearl ribbon and wrapped it around the wreath quickly. And then took an Easter egg spray I had from last year and stuck it on the wreath.

And TA DA!!!!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope this project will inspire you to go out and create!

I wanted to put up another peek at my February wedding. Matt and Melissa are living in South Carolina and it’s going to take me a few days to get this all packaged and pretty for them. And then another few days for the postman to deliver it to their door. I want to say thank you again. Going through these the past 2 days I have had the chance to relive this amazing wedding all over again! The love you see in everyone’s eyes is amazing and I am so happy for you two. You two were surrounded by so many people who love and care for you. You all are so very blessed! Congrats again and look for these in the mail soon!!! Here is the last look before they hit the door! Enjoy!
